Les Robinson, of Linles Accountants and Business Consultants, contacted me to ask me to convert his website to WordPress and give it a new look.
Les is computer literate and familiar with WordPress, but he just didn’t have the time to do the work himself.
We considered several themes but decided to go with one that Les suggested – Able from Automattic. This theme doesn’t have a logo or phone number in the header, so I set up a child theme to add these and make a few changes to the style of the theme.
I used the meta slider plugin to add a slide show to the home page and used testimonials as captions on the slides to highlight the positive comments that Linles’s clients have made about them.
